WHO theme for WAAW 2026
You are invited! On behalf of the Society of Antimicrobial Stewardship PractIces (SASPI) in India, we cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) 2026 and help India curtail the rise of antimicrobial resistance.
Every institution is free to celebrate in its own way. We suggest designating a representative, such as the Convener of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee or a member of the Hospital Infection Control Team, to organise activities like educating the public about antibiotics, promoting rational use, preventing infections and making the right diagnosis.
If you join us, please share a brief write-up (about 100 words), a message from your head of institution and a couple of event photos. We will feature them on the SASPI website to inspire others.
