The membership of the Organization shall consist of physicians, doctoral-level scientists, and other healthcare professionals involved with IAS activities or associated disciplines through clinical practice, research, teaching, public health work, administration, or some combination of these activities. Membership shall not be denied or abridged because of sex, colour, creed, race, religion, disability, ethnic origin, national origin, sexual orientation, age, or any other reason unrelated to character or competence.
